Terms and Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to orders placed with Carolines TShirts LTD for garment printing, embroidery and personalised clothing.
By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms.
Quotations & Orders
All quotations are based on the information supplied to us at the time of quoting, including garment type, quantities, artwork and the printing or embroidery required.
Prices may change if the requirements of the order are subsequently altered.
An order is considered confirmed once the details and price have been agreed and, where required, payment or a deposit has been received.
Artwork & Design Approval
Customers are responsible for checking all artwork, wording, spelling, colours, sizes and positioning before approving an order for production.
Once artwork has been approved and production has started, we cannot accept responsibility for errors that were present in the approved artwork or information supplied by the customer.
Colours displayed on phones, monitors and printed proofs may vary from the final printed or embroidered colours.
Customer-Supplied Artwork
For the best results, artwork should be supplied in the highest quality available.
We will advise if artwork needs to be redrawn, converted or otherwise prepared before production. Additional artwork charges may apply where significant work is required.
The customer is responsible for ensuring they have permission to reproduce any logos, images, trademarks or other artwork supplied to us.
Garments, Sizes & Colours
Garment sizing can vary between manufacturers and styles. Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate garment sizes before ordering.
Where required, please ask us about sizing or garment samples before confirming your order.
Garment colours may vary slightly between manufacturers, batches and what is displayed on a screen.
Personalised Garments
Please check all names, numbers and other individual personalisation carefully when placing your order.
We cannot accept returns or exchanges on personalised garments because of an incorrect size, spelling or other information supplied or approved by the customer.
This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty or have not been produced as agreed.
Customer-Supplied Garments
We can print or embroider customer-supplied garments by prior agreement.
Although every reasonable care is taken, printing and embroidery processes involve heat, pressure, machinery and other production processes.
Customer-supplied garments are therefore provided at the customer’s own risk. We recommend discussing particularly valuable or unusual garments with us before work begins.
Printing & Embroidery
We use professional garment decoration processes including Screen Printing, Vinyl Printing, Full Colour Print & Cut, Transfer Printing, Sublimation Printing and Embroidery.
We will recommend the process we believe is most suitable for the garment, artwork and quantity.
Minor variations in positioning, colour and finish can occur during garment printing and embroidery and are a normal part of the production process.
Turnaround Times
Any completion or collection date given is an estimate unless we have specifically agreed otherwise.
We will always do our best to complete orders within the agreed timeframe, but delays can occasionally occur because of garment availability, suppliers or circumstances outside our control.
If you have a fixed deadline, please tell us when placing your order.
Payment
Payment terms will be agreed when the order is placed.
We reserve the right to request full or partial payment before ordering garments or beginning production.
Goods remain our property until payment has been received in full.
Changes & Cancellations
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order.
Once garments have been ordered, artwork prepared or production has begun, it may not be possible to cancel or change the order without charge.
Personalised or made-to-order goods cannot normally be cancelled once production has started.
Faults & Problems
We take pride in the quality of our work and want you to be happy with your order.
If you believe there is a fault or we have made an error, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can inspect the garments and resolve the issue.
Please do not wear, wash or alter garments that you believe are faulty before contacting us.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.
Care of Printed & Embroidered Garments
Please follow the garment manufacturer’s care instructions together with any additional washing instructions we provide.
Printed garments should generally be washed inside out and excessive heat should be avoided when washing, drying or ironing over decorated areas.
Incorrect washing, tumble drying or ironing can damage garment decoration and is not considered a manufacturing fault.
